Delete your Taskspell account & data
Contact Kaliona to request full deletion or removal of specific Taskspell data.
What to include
- Use the subject Taskspell account and data deletion request.
- Include the email address you use to sign in to Taskspell. Sending from that address helps us verify ownership; contact us even if you no longer have access to it.
- Say whether you want your entire Taskspell account and associated data deleted, or only particular data.
No reason for leaving, sign-in or app reinstall is required. Do not send your password, widget token, authentication code or identity document unless a specific, necessary verification step has been explained.
What happens next
Kaliona handles requests manually. We confirm the request, verify ownership as needed, explain the expected completion timeframe and notify you when deletion is complete. We act as promptly as reasonably possible and within applicable legal deadlines. Sending the email does not instantly delete anything.
What a full request covers
- Your Taskspell cloud workspace: tasks, notes, checklists, dates, repeat rules, lists, preferences and recovery or trash data.
- Uploaded files and their associated metadata.
- Widget/device authorizations, reminders, notification subscriptions and associated operational records.
- Taskspell’s stored Microsoft connection and imported task content.
- Your sharing-rule acceptance, blocks and sharing-suspension record.
- Shared lists you own, plus your membership or identifying references in other shared lists stored by Taskspell.
This closes your Taskspell workspace. It does not close your separate Floot, Microsoft or Google account. For those accounts, use the provider’s own account-deletion process.
Data that may remain
We keep a one-way hash of your Taskspell user identifier and its closure date while the account remains closed, to block old devices from restoring deleted cloud data. Temporary cleanup records keep file storage keys and connected Microsoft email addresses until external deletion is verified. Neither record keeps task content. Contact us if you expressly want to reopen your account.
Safety reports, limited reported-content evidence and moderation records may remain for up to 90 days from the report’s submission, including after account deletion, for abuse investigation and related disputes. We clear direct reporter contact/account fields and subject identifiers on closure. The report text or evidence may still include personal information until expiry; deleted records may then remain in the seven-day database recovery history.
Floot retains backend logs for 90 days, certain security, storage-access and CDN logs for 30 days, and historical visitor analytics for 12 months. Deleted database records may remain in Floot’s documented seven-day recovery history for our paid hosting plan. Uploaded files are not included in that database backup history. Limited records may be retained where required for legal obligations, security investigations or disputes; we explain any applicable exception and timeframe. See our retention policy.
Local device data, exported backups and copies independently saved by other people are not erased remotely. We will help you clear local copies and prevent old devices from resynchronizing them. Pausing sync, disconnecting a widget or uninstalling the app alone does not delete your cloud data.
