Kaliona / Podbraid

Privacy policy

This policy covers Podbraid, including its web app and any companion app distributed by Kaliona. Questions: holo.kaliona@gmail.com.

Information handled by Podbraid

Show and episode plans, show membership and invitations, member display names, comments, approval records, uploaded files, private notes and personal preferences. Shared episode drafts may also be stored locally on your device. Private notes have separate account-scoped access. Optional production alerts store device or browser delivery subscriptions, a device-session security cookie, explicit task-to-member assignments, discussion read markers and delivery-status records.

Use, access and security

Kaliona uses this data to provide the features you choose, save your work, manage access and respond to support requests. It is not sold or used by Kaliona for advertising. App traffic uses HTTPS. Access controls restrict private records; no storage or transmission method is risk-free.

Service providers and retention

Floot hosts the app, database and private file storage. Shared show content is available to authorized show members according to their access level. Download links are issued after an access check and expire. Other authorized members may save copies of shared material. The app stores saved edits to shared show and episode plans, production tasks and private notes in browser or app storage on your device so it can recover them after a reload or interrupted connection. Recovery is tied to the account verified by the server; Podbraid also separates copies by show and episode. A fresh launch requires an online identity check before private drafts are displayed. Compatible changes sync automatically; competing changes require review. Pending copies remain on the device until synced or cleared. Clearing browser or app storage can permanently remove edits that have not reached the cloud. With your permission, Floot and the device or browser push provider deliver alerts for assignments, comments and file approvals. Generic banners do not contain episode titles, task names, comment text or private notes. The app checks current show access and whether the update is still relevant before sending; an active, visible discussion can acknowledge displayed comments to avoid unnecessary alerts. Delivery acceptance does not guarantee display on the device.

Floot’s infrastructure handles operational and security information under its privacy policy. Provider logs, backups and previously collected analytics can have separate retention periods. Disabling new app analytics does not erase historical provider records. Contact support about these copies; we will identify applicable retention and follow up with the provider.

Active app data is kept while needed to provide your app account and requested features. On a verified deletion request, support removes the agreed data and checks remaining storage and integration copies. A minimal request record may be retained for verification, security or a specific legal obligation; any applicable exception and timeframe will be explained.

Your choices and deletion

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data at holo.kaliona@gmail.com. You can request deletion without reinstalling or signing in to the app. Account deletion is separate from uninstalling.

Request account & data deletion

Your separate Floot, Google, Notion or other provider accounts are not deleted by an app-data request. Downloads, browser caches and copies held on your devices or by other authorized people may need separate action.

Shared work and reporting

Only share material you are authorized to use. Do not upload illegal material, exploitative content, threats or targeted harassment. To report content or a member, email support with the show name and the relevant episode or comment; do not send unnecessary private material. Support will review the report and can coordinate access removal with the authorized show owner.

Optional production alerts

Alerts start off on each device. Enable them in Settings and accept the device notification prompt. A task alerts only an explicitly selected current show member; a typed owner label is not used to guess an account. You can turn alerts off in the app or device settings. Messages already delivered may remain in device notification history until cleared. Native availability depends on the installed app version.
